Diindolylmethane (DIM) is a compound that is formed in the body during the digestion of certain vegetables, particularly cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, and kale. It has been studied for its potential effects on estrogen metabolism.

 

Estrogen Metabolism: Estrogen is a hormone that plays a crucial role in various physiological processes, especially in the female reproductive system. DIM is believed to influence estrogen metabolism, potentially promoting a balance between “good” and “bad” estrogen metabolites.
